This series of images is an investigation of structures that are designed for storing and handling of merchandise. Maintaining and handling of inventory is a vital part of the economy and many businesses have dedicated departments for handling of their merchandise. Warehouses generally consist of large rectangular structures with large doors that are meant to accommodate a variety of warehousing solutions. The geometric structure allows for a very versatile multipurpose warehouse that can be altered according to how it is used. This series is a beginning to an extended photographic investigation of this industry.
